Chief of Business Development
As our Chief of Business Development, you will be the driving force behind our strategic partnerships and B2B growth initiatives. You'll lead our VP of Business Development team, manage RFP processes, develop government and private sector partnerships, and establish long-term B2B contracts that will scale our platform's reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with corporations, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and government agencies.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies that align with our mission of democratizing access to life coaching.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations and industries.
- Create partnership proposals and presentations that showcase our platform's value proposition.
- Negotiate partnership terms and agreements that benefit both parties while advancing our mission.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure partnership success and ROI.
- Lead the identification and evaluation of relevant RFPs from government agencies, corporations, and other organizations.
- Direct VP of Business Development team in developing comprehensive, competitive proposals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure proposal accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies at federal, state, and local levels.
- Identify opportunities for government contracts related to employee wellness and mental health support.
- Lead the development of long-term B2B contracts and master service agreements.
- Work with legal team to ensure contracts protect our interests while meeting client requirements.
- Leading and mentoring the VP of Business Development team members.
- Recruit and onboard additional business development talent as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of business development experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships and B2B relationships.
- Extensive experience with RFP management, proposal development, and government contracting.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with complex contract development.
- Experience leading and managing business development teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare, wellness, or personal development industry landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort with a flexible, results-oriented role with significant equity upside.
